Pete Apps is deputy editor at Inside Housing magazine, where he has covered housing policy and the affordable housing sector for the last six years. He has won numerous awards for his work including British Journalism Awards in 2017 and 2018. Pete is a shared owner with a London housing association and has written about his experience of buying a home through the scheme.
Helen Evans is Chief Executive of Network Homes which is a housing association of around 20,000 homes working in London and the South East. Network builds and manages homes to meet a wide range of housing need and pursues commercial activity to cross subsidise its social purpose. Helen has worked in social housing in London for over 30 years. Helen will shortly be taking over as Chair of the g15, which is a group of London's largest housing associations.

Kevin has over 10 years' experience in the leasehold management sector. This includes expertise in managing shared-ownership homes in a wide ranging portfolio of property types throughout London. Kevin has established a professional approach to delivering services to commercial customer groups, whilst generating profit for purpose.
Nigel started his career as a zoologist before spending ten years overseas in downstream oil marketing – buying, building and running petrol stations. He then spent four years at the International Petroleum Exchange (where Brent futures are traded) running their market data, training, publications and press departments. Nigel then worked for a Fintech company, Caplin, ending up as their CEO in New York – from where he joined the investment bank JP Morgan for four years.
In 2009, he founded Managed Living Partnerships (MLP), along with Richard Kozak. By late 2015 it managed over 40 blocks and 1,400 units, with a team of three accountants and five staff in property management and new business. During 2015, Nigel became active on the ARMA Council and its Finance Committee. Having sold MLP in January 2016 he resigned from Council and joined ARMA in April 2016 as its (part time) CEO.

Chris Baker has been the owner of McDowalls since 2011 having started his professional career as a property manager there in 1999.
McDowalls specialises in residential lease extensions and freehold enfranchisement cases; residential private rented sector management; and, property licensing. Its clients include local housing associations, private clients, local authorities and corporate clients.
